In this blog, I’m gonna share my absolute favorite products and services I bought in 2021. Let’s be Frank with each other. It’s the holiday season. You’ve already got your wallet out, and you’re ready to purchase a bunch of stuff. – Every day, new stuff. It’s like Christmas every day. Don’t worry, I got your back. The purchase I’m about to share have impacted my life in a positive way.
I’m super excited to share them with you. And to make things easy, IT cv writing services uk broken them down into the following categories; essential health and biohacking products, gadgets and technology, productivity, and that includes apps and gear, and let’s not forget game-changing books. The Search Initiative, Authority Builders, and the Chiang Mai SEO Conference.
Publish A Blog Post
Every year in December, I typically publish a blog post on www.example.com detailing my favorite purchases of the year. These posts are pretty damn popular, and according to Google analytics, they pull thousands of eyeballs. And according to the comments, people seem to love this kind of content. This year, since I’ve been doubled down on YouTube, I decided to make a blog version for fine folks like yourself. Some of the items on this list are completely free.
No Matter What Your Purchase Budget
One of them is over $3,000. The average cost of one of these products is $27.82. So no matter what your budget, I got something in this blog for you. So, if you like purchase cool which is pretty much all of us, buckle up for a nice trip down credit card lane. And make sure to stay to the end because the books I’m gonna recommend this year have been absolute game changers. But first things first, you should know that each of the products I’m recommending has a link in the description for you to purchase that product. Most of them are affiliate links, which means I’ll earn money.
But what I’m gonna do with that money during this holiday season is donate it to various orphanages here where I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In addition, for each time the like button is smashed, I’ll donate $1 of my own money as well. So, thanks for being a part of this. Let’s raise some money for charity, and show you some cool stuff in the process. Kicking things off with the health category.
The first service in this category that I was super impressed with was Inside Tracker. Inside Tracker is an incredible online services that combines tracking with algorithms in order to deliver you actionable advice regarding your health. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m big on biohacking. I’m obsessed with this idea of using technology and testing to improve not only our lifespans, but our health spans. The portion of your life when you’re in good health and able to do everything that you could possibly want to.
What’s the point in living to a hundred, if the latter half of it, you’re using a walking stick. Which is why in the past I’ve recommended devices like this Oura Ring here, which tracks your sleep. By the end of 2022, I’ll probably have gone full cyborg. But what inside tracker does is allow you to send in blood and optionally DNA tests. They’ll analyze your results and give you back feedback on what you should do about those results.
119 Blood Test Upload Service
I use their $119 blood test upload service that you’re seeing here. Know that with this upload service, you’re expected to get your blood work done at a lab, then upload the result. The price of the blood work will vary. But for me here in Thailand, it came out to about 240 bucks. Now, I was pretty impressed with the actionability of these results. I mean, it’s one thing to know if you have low vitamin D levels, but what do you actually do to improve it? How does this information correlate to your actual DNA? Based on my own genetic mutations.
Vitamin D Levels
Personally, I thrive if I have high vitamin D levels, and I get absolutely floored when they’re low. The cool thing about Inside Tracker is that for a low price, they were able to figure this out. I hadn’t known this already, but I had to go through multiple tests from various sources and spoke to a couple of doctors to learn this already. My plan is to continue using Inside Tracker every six months, continuously sending in blood test results and seeing how I improve over time.
Use the link below to check out Inside Tracker. Since we’re on the topic of tracking, I got another sweet product for you, and that’s the INEVIFIT Bluetooth EROS Smart Scale. – What? Good product I swear. Branding could use some more work. Anyways, this product is pretty dope. Of course it tracks your weight, but using biometric sensors it can also track body fat percentage, water, muscle mass, BMI, BMR, bone mass, skeletal muscle, fat-free body weight, subcutaneous fat, protein, and metabolic age. Now, the jury’s out on how accurate sensors like these are, but it thinks my metabolic age is six years younger than my actual age.
It’s Accurate Dammit
For me, the best part of this scale is the app interface. It tracks your progress towards your weight, muscle and fat goals over time. So, you can see how you’re progressing. Apparently midnight Taco Bell runs are not ideal for weight loss. Get it? Runs? Anyhow, if you want to pick up the Eros Scale for about 70 bucks, make sure to use the affiliate link in the description, and I’ll get that extra money to charity. Before I get to the next product, do you get tight muscles? Of course you freaking do, you’re working your ass off in front of a computer all day, or you’re watching the hell out of your mobile device hunched over like Quasimodo.
Product Lifesaver For Me
It’s magnesium lotion from White Egret and it’s awesome. Thanks Shay for recommending it. According to Healthline, magnesium helps regulate muscle contractions by blocking calcium. It competes with calcium, a notorious cause of contraction. So, it can’t put your muscles on lockdown. The effect; happier and looser muscles. I personally feel a big difference in my neck pain about 10 minutes after rubbing some of the stuff on it.
Pick up this product from My Herb for about $15 using the link in the description. In the same article, Healthline talks about how magnesium helps with sleep quality. And I can definitely attest for that being true, at least for myself. But for that I’m using orally taken magnesium glycinate. Not saying the lotion doesn’t help with sleep, I just haven’t single variable tested it. Next in the health category is a Theragun by Thera Body. The particular model I bought is the Theragun Prime, and it’s about $300.
This thing is insane. You haven’t known pleasure until you’ve had a 500 horsepower gun beating it into you. But on the real, this massage gun is ridiculously effective and it feels great on pretty much any part of your body that needs it. It also instantly transforms your partner into a professional misuse. It’s got this app interface as well, which guides you through little massage routines, which is fun in the beginning, but eventually you’ll be like, “Honey, just work the hamstrings.”
Get your hands on the Theragun by using the link in the description. The next product is a lot more affordable, but equally useful. And that’s the H2O Coach 2.5 liter water bottle. There’s actually a story of why I wanted a water bottle that’s actually 2.5 liters. So, I read this article that you’re supposed to drink three liters of water per day, if you’re pretty active.
50 Times To Go Pee
That’s great. But why do I wake up at night 50 times to go pee? Then I found this article that helped me calculate how much I should drink based on my weight and activity level. And my sweet spot is 2.5 liters. Anyways, I searched on Amazon and found this bad boy and I love it. It’s just great having a pre-measured, easily carried BPA free water bottle to tote around through the day. I didn’t expect to actually like having a pre-measured water bottle this much, but hey, it’s the smaller things in life.
Pick up this bottle or whatever size bottle your body wants on Amazon. My next favorite purchase in the health category is this Zero Fasting app. This app is a fasting tracker app, which is great for people into intermittent or prolonged fasting. They have a free version, which you can totally get by on. Or paid $69 per year version, which I got because it gives you more features.
Optimizing Your Health
If you’re into optimizing your health, you’ve probably heard a lot about intermittent fasting, and after listening to the 200th podcast from the likes of Tim Ferriss, Andrew Huberman, and Davidson Sinclair, all spouting the benefits of intermittent fasting, I decided to give it a shot. And I quickly learned that I was already doing it. I stopped eating around 5:00 PM, and start again at 9:00 AM, which is a pretty decent 16 hour fast. So, I decided to get the app, and see what I can learn by tracking fasting.
Best UX Of Any Other App
I will say hands down that this app has the best UX of any other app I’ve used in my life. They’ve totally gamified intermittent fasting, and make it super fun to track your fast, and more importantly, your progress. It integrates with other apps like your health and sleep apps to see how much more awesome you’re getting over time. And for me personally, I’ve experienced a loss of body fat, increase in muscle and strength, less brain fog, and better sleep.
Of course, talk to your doctor before you take health advice from a random guy on YouTube. Check out Zero app in your app store, and give fasting a whirl. Rounding out the health list. It’s more of a beauty product, and that’s Clarin’s Double Anti-aging Serum. My wife gets credit for this one. She always finds me great products for my skin. Now, I’ll straight up tell you, I know Jack about beauty products, but I do know that I don’t want to get wrinkles or look older. Being 42, I’ll take any help that I can get.
